FBU Product Design Internship
In Summer 2021, I had the opportunity to intern with the Product Foundations Design Team at Facebook as part of the Facebook University (FBU) program. The Product Foundations team is responsible for maintaining the core elements of the Facebook app that are shared across all product interfaces, including Gaming, Watch, Dating, and others.

My primary focus was on improving core navigation by designing solutions to provide users with a customizable experience and increase recommendations for Facebook products and services.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams
During my time on the project, I was fortunate to work with a talented team of Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Researchers. Their insights and feedback were invaluable in helping me refine my proposed solutions and deepen my understanding of the project as a whole. I feel grateful for the opportunity to have learned from such a knowledgeable and experienced team.

Culture
Although my internship experience was remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was still able to make meaningful connections and build relationships with my colleagues. This was not only educational, but it was also a lot of fun.

Growth
This internship provided me with not only the opportunity to improve my skills, but also to grow as a person, teammate, and designer. It was a valuable and enriching experience that helped me develop both personally and professionally.
