UX Design Internship (view my full intern project here)
During the Summer of 2022, I interned as a UX Designer on the Looker Team. I was fortunate to have the chance to work on two meaningful projects. The team members were always available and willing to offer support, allowing me to gain new skills and make significant contributions to the product. This experience allowed me to grow and develop as a designer.

Project #1: Visualizations Editor Experience

-
Designed a new dashboard editing experience that is intuitive and easy to navigate.

-
Collaborated with the engineering team to develop wireframes, design concepts, and high fidelity screens while also gaining an understanding of technical limitations. The goal was to create designs that would enhance customer satisfaction with Looker dashboards.

-
Conducted a usability study with internal and external Looker users to refine and improve my designs for discoverability and accessibility. Final designs were more effective and likely to be used by a wider range of users.

Project #2: Time-Series Visualization

-
Redesigned an animated data visualization feature that allows users to interactively explore and drill down into their data. This involved revising the user interface and improving the overall user experience to make it more intuitive and engaging. The resulting design not only makes it easier for users to analyze and understand their data, but it also enhances the overall appeal and usefulness of the tool.

-
Successfully pitched my designs to leadership and stakeholders which launched internally. This was a significant accomplishment as it demonstrates the value and potential impact of my work.

Highlights 🎉
During my summer as a remote intern based in San Francisco, I had the chance to visit Google's offices and establish valuable connections in the Bay Area. Here are some of the highlights from my experience. 🥳
Special thanks to my managers, mentor, the Looker team, cross-functional, UX cohort for making this summer an amazing experience.
